Blueberry - Jewel (Southern Highbush) #5 Pot

The Jewel Blueberry has moderately-low chilling requirement, only requiring about 200 hours. This variety produces high quality, early ripening berries. These large, firm berries tend to be tart but sweeten when fully ripe. The Jewel begins flowering in mid-February and has become a very popular variety due to its ability to produce high yields of large, tangy berries in adaptable climates. The mature plant reaches 6 feet to 8 feet tall. Jewel Blueberry is a southern highbush and will cross pollinate with other southern highbush like Sapphire and Emerald. Hardy in Zones 8-10.
