Crape Myrtle - Black Diamond Lavender Lace #7 Pot

Pastel purple blooms and deep black foliage make Black Diamond Lavender Lace an elegant accessory for container gardens and landscape beds, but they’ll hold their own as blooming hedges, as well. Lavender Lace combines traditional beauty with a commanding presence wherever it’s planted. A maximum size of 10-12 feet tall and 8 feet wide lets gardeners use this plant wherever they need a bit of interest in the garden. Plant alone as a specimen or mix and match with other Black Diamond Blooms for an outstanding design. Crape Myrtles look particularly nice when lining driveways or fences, and can also be planted in a container on your deck or patio as long as the container is at least 12 inches in diameter. These crape myrtles are drought tolerant, mildew resistant, and low-maintenance. Zone 6 planting requires protection during the winter otherwise, it will die back to the ground and blooms will be sparse. The Black Diamond is hardy in Zones 7-9.

USDA ZONES: Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9.
