Cypress - Italian #5 Pot

This stately conifer has an impressive history, regarded in many regions of the Mediterranean as a sacred icon. The Italian Cypress proudly shows off its tall columnar stature, coming to a shapely point at the top. They can grow up to 40 feet tall and between 4 – 6 feet wide, but you can simply shear off the top when they’ve reached the height you want. The Italian Cypress can easily grow 3 feet per year. The dense blue-green leaves are not only aromatic, but ideal for sculpting into ornamental décor for a deck or patio. Don’t hesitate to put them in a pot if you’ve got little room. This hardy evergreen requires very low maintenance, and enjoys full sun or partial shade. Italian Cypress is drought resistant, and thrives in most any type of soil.
