Peach Trees - Crimson Lady #5 Pot

A new and distinct variety of peach tree, that are large in size, heavy in production, and early maturing, but is distinguished by having almost full red skin color at ripening time. This is a clingstone peach, instead of freestone in type, but has the sweetest flavor and a thin, almost smooth skin. The flesh is yellow, firm and very juicy but non-melting in texture. Crimson Lady peaches are very aromatic clingstone peaches and are better for snacking than cooking. It is an early-season variety, ripening late June to early July. It is a tip bearer and should be pruned accordingly.  Prune the laterals short and you’ll prune off your crop.  Those who prune correctly get good consistent crops. Cold tolerant but need only 600-700 chill hours to set fruit.
