Pear Trees - Flordahome #5 Pot

The Flordahome Pear is good for Gulf Coast planting. It produces large, semi-hard pears that ripen in mid summer. The pears are green and sweet, though slightly tart, and can be eaten fresh or canned. The Flordahome is leaf spot and fire blight resistant. It requires 150-250 chill hours. Hood or Pineapple Pears make good pollinators. At maturity, it can reach a height between 15-20 feet and a width of 12-15 feet.
