Persimmon Trees - Maekawa Jiro (Non-Astringent) #5 Pot
Maekawa Jiro can grow to be 12 ft high. It can withstand very cold-hardy weather. When ripe and mature, the fruit will turn orange. Jiro can be eaten while its flesh is still firm, like an apple. Ripens early, a week or so earlier than Ichi. A handsome yard tree. Self-fertile. We graft the Maekawa Jiro persimmon onto native American persimmon root stock.
