The Chinese Pistacia is a deciduous tree whose rounded to oval shape provides good shade and whose foliage provides vibrant fall color. The tree is also drought tolerant and very disease resistant. It it is a medium-sized tree with a medium growth-rate, growing anywhere from 25 to 40 feet tall with a spread of 25-35 feet. It is hardy to 5 degrees. Plant in the full sun and in well-drained soil.
