Plum Trees - Bruce #5 Pot
Bruce plums are wine-red medium to large fruit that ripen in late May to June. They are sweet and semi-acidic and can be used for canning or in desserts. If you want to save some of your plums for later, stick them in the fridge and they will keep for 6-8 weeks. The Bruce Plum tree is a Japanese plum tree, and as such should be planted near other plum trees like the Methley in order to be pollinated and produce fruit. The tree also requires 500 chill hours and grows to a mature height and width of 15 to 20 feet. USDA ZONES: Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9.
